The short Ethernet and DC power cable that comes with each horizontal shelf allows the laptop to be charged directly using the supplied AC adapters which are stored in a separate and secure compartment. This ensures that the trolley is uncluttered and also that other users can only access the necessary wiring. The built-in ventilation ensures that the temperature remains just right while laptop updates are in progress so there will be no overheating laptops in the Ethernet charging trolley. With the fast built-in Ethernet switch device, you can turn one Ethernet connection into 20 Ethernet connections in the trolley without losing speed. Also, the standard built-in Cat6 patch cables that run to the laptops provide a speed of up to 1000 Mbit/s and a throughput of 250 Mhz, so more data can be processed simultaneously. With the built-in switch device and the Cat6 cables you therefore have super fast internet and throughput.
Due to the elegant and compact material, the ethernet charging trolley has a quiet appearance that comes into its own at any desired location. With the 4 mounted swivel castors, which can also be braked, the trolley is easy to move and stop. The cabinet is also equipped with a hinged door that can be folded back 270 degrees and that clicks into place in a magnetic lock. This prevents possible damage and creates a lot of space for the user to easily place his laptop in the trolley and then attach the cables to the laptops. The Ethernet charging trolley can be locked in a theft-proof manner with two options: key lock and digital code lock. With these two options, it is impossible to get into the trolley unless the corresponding key or code is used.
A NetGear Fast Ethernet switch with 20 ports is supplied as standard, but you can also choose and install your own 1U rack-mountable switch, or even install a wifi router. The Ethernet cable ensures that every laptop can be connected to the Internet, so that important updates that have Internet can still take place even though the device is not connected to WiFi.
